Today, we will drive to Soti Khola via Arughat, which takes around 8 hours. During the drive, we will pass by the Nepalese landscape decorated with backdrops of giant mountain scenery. We will drive for five hours through a paved/pitched road to Tari Besi and then follow bumpy roads to the Machha Khola.

We will walk ahead from Machha Khola on a rising and falling trail and traverse along the Tharo Khola to reach Khorlabesi. We will also travel to Tatopani, a small hot spring. And then, we will walk across the Budhi Gandaki through a suspension bridge. We will have to walk across a landslide above a ridge to Dobhan. After that, going across the Yaru River via a bridge, we will climb the stony stairs, walk down to the river, and once more go up, taking a path with rocky staircases. We will walk on the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki River and then climb to the Jagat village.

We will walk for approximately 5 hours on this day to reach Philim from Jagat. On the way, we will walk to Sirdabas, which presents stunning vistas of Sringi Himal. We will also traverse a long suspension bridge and ascend steeply to Philim. We can walk around Philim to see adjacent hillsides enveloped in the emerald quintessence of the natural environment after we reach there. Walking further from Philim, we will pass along the pleasant path, rewarded by inspiring cascades of water bodies scattered around the terrain. We will also pass by the settlement of Eklebhatti and traverse a river two times via suspension bridges. Passing another location named Pewa, we will walk through the valley to get to Deng Village.

Trekking for around 5 hours, we will walk ahead from Deng to Namrung. We will pass through the Budhi Gandaki River and make our way up to Rana, lying at the height of 1910m. Walking from the west part of the Budhi Gandaki valley, we will also walk through wooded areas to reach Ghap. We will also walk passing the Prok village, which presents a striking view of Sringi Himal. We need to go across Budi Gandaki many times and will also pass by small monasteries. Enjoying the pleasant walk coruscating steeply up, we will reach Namrung.

We will depart from Namrung and walk ahead to Lamagaun, the viewpoint for the beautiful Himalchuli Peak, and will keep walking to Lho Gaon. You will take a side tour to Pungyen Gompa, an age-old monastery with an immensely spectacular view of Mt. Manaslu (8163m), among several others.

Today we will follow the Pungyen glacier onward the trail. Walking ahead, we will reach the big village of Samagaun, the most beautiful town in the Manaslu region. The entire town rewards you with splendid views of Mt. Manaslu as well.

To avoid altitude sickness, we will acclimatize in Samagaon on this day. You have two options for this day, either to go on a full-day or a half-day walk. You can take a full-day hike to Manaslu Base Camp (4800m), a 7-8 hours walk from Samagaun. Alternatively, you can go to the glacier across the valley or Birendra Taal and return to Samagaun.

We will leave Samagaon and walk ahead to Samdo on this day. We will walk across pasture areas and steadily climb up the valley. Here, incredible views of the peaks, especially Manaslu, appeal with its serenity. Samdo is a Tibetan refugee settlement. We can also explore around to get acquainted with the Tibetan culture and their way of life.

With an easy walk today, we will walk across the Budhi Gandaki River and walk ahead, where we will notice Mani walls with prayers carved on them. Our path then climbs through juniper woods and tundra vegetation with a scenic viewpoint where the Larkya La Glacier appears. Scaling further, we will reach Dharmashala (4460m).

This is one of the most important days of our trek. We will gradually climb over the edge at the back of Dharmashala. You won’t have a challenging route, but it is lengthy. We will walk down passing sapphire lakes and traverse along the Larkya La Pass set at 5106m. As you reach the apex, we can notice the Himlung Himal (7126m), Cheo Himal (6820m), Kang Guru (6981m), Annapurna II (7937m), and several other peaks in their colossal majesty. We will then return, descending through a broad and stunning valley to a very picturesque settlement of Bhimthang at 3590m.

We will descend from Bhimthang to Tilche on this day. We will also walk down through pine, rhododendron woods, and verdant emerald meadows. Then, we will drop further to Dudh Khola’s river bank and reach Karche La. We will also pass by the Gho Village. Then, to conclude our trek for this day, we will walk to Tilche, a Gurung settlement.

We will trek for approximately 2 hours on this day to reach Chamche. We will climb over a slight edge and pass beautiful villages. We will also traverse the Dudh Khola, accompanied by Mani walls, and get to the Thonje Village. From Thonje, you will ascend to the Dharapani village. We will further take a drive from Dharapani to Kathmandu, enjoying scenes of the hills, lush woods, jaded florescent meadows, and magnificent mountain landscapes. As we reach Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Today is your final day in Nepal, a wonderful nation full of Himalayan beauty. Your voyage ends today, but the memories you create will endure a lifetime. You’ll be ready to say goodbye to a country that gave you an amazing opportunity to explore Manaslu Circuit.
